Three days of mourning declared after 25 people killed
Egypt has declared three days of mourning on Sunday after a bombing at a chapel adjacent to Egypt’s main Coptic Christian cathedral killed 25 people and wounded another 49.

Pope Tawadros Meets Saudi King
On the 8th of April 2016 the first meeting between a the head of the Egyptian Coptic Orthodox Church and a Saudi King occured. HH Pope Tawadros II met Saudi King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz during his visit to Cairo.
HG Bishop Angaelos Awards
On the 1st April 2016 HG Bishop Angaelos conferred the Lambeth Cross for Ecumenism by HG the Archbishop of Canterbury at Lambeth Palace days after receiving the Coventry Cross of Nails at Coventry Cathedral
